- The Learning Specialist 2 under the direction of the Director of Learning, Clinical Lead, will provide change management support, training, and consultation to staff working with people with mental health, substance use, psychosocial and intellectual/developmental challenges in community-based, day, residential, and child welfare systems of care.
- The Learning Specialist 2 (LS2), with the Learning Department team, will help the agency to plan and implement changes in policy, procedures, and practice, and will support the agency in implementation and integration of mission and strategic plan.
- The Learning Specialist 2 is the second, more advanced level Learning Specialist role, with the Learning Specialist 1 available as the more entry level position.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT); Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP); Brief Therapy; Shared Decision Making; and other relevant and emerging evidence-based practices
- Create and deliver advanced training packages in the following as relevant based on specific role: family engagement and treatment, trauma informed care, recovery-oriented practice, substance use and harm reduction, culturally affirming care, LGBTQ competencies, documentation, risk management, crisis de-escalation, behavioral management and support, human growth and development, health literacy, and others as needed
