The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the full lifecycle of technology and SaaS vendor relationships, including sourcing, risk evaluation, and due diligence. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vendor partnerships align with the company's objectives, particularly in the areas of cost optimization, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. The AVP will also be a key player in driving value through vendor rationalization and negotiation of commercial terms, as well as overseeing contract lifecycle management and renewal tracking. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in IT procurement, category management, or third-party risk management, with a strong preference for those with a background in the financial services or mortgage servicing industry. The role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, SaaS models, cloud services, and cybersecurity, as well as the ability to manage complex vendor contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships across business, technology, and control functions, and possess excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
