This role demands a data-driven individual with a strong background in dealership operations, particularly in equipment inventory management, and the ability to drive performance across multiple departments and locations. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include overseeing all equipment purchases, rentals, and inventory, managing the used equipment department, and leading company-wide rental operations. The role also involves developing and monitoring rental metrics, establishing inventory reporting and controls, and ensuring compliance with rental procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 10 years' of management experience in inventory, rental, or equipment operations, and a proven track record in a construction equipment dealership. Strong business acumen, the ability to analyze financial data, and experience in P&L management are essential.
