- The Plant HR Manager will be an integral member of the of the Plant Management Team and will be responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategies, practices, and measures that are aligned with the business objectives and support a safe, effective, high-performance manufacturing environment.
- The Plant HR Manager will manage the HR function both strategically and operationally, providing HR functional knowledge, and maximizing employee commitment, capability, and performance.
- Serves as a primary resource to the Plant Manager in aligning organization structure and developing roles as necessary to support business.
- Provides recommendations regarding individual development strategies and manages succession planning for key plant management positions.
- Assists Senior Management in the development and implementation of key Labor/Management strategies and/or employee relations’ strategies for site; Drives prompt grievance/issue resolution; Participates in site labor negotiations, as needed.
