- The Director of Human Resources at Catalina Island Conservancy will lead a small team of HR professionals, focusing on HR management across core functions to enhance employee experience and foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Spearhead high-impact HR projects to elevate and streamline HR operations.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert and coordinator in matters pertaining to recruitment, orientation, employee relations maters, policy development, mediation, compliance, leadership development, and organizational learning.
- Oversee the implementation and improvement of all human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- SHRM-SCP or other HR certifications strongly desired.
