Production Machine Operator - 2nd Shift ($17/hr)

Job SummaryObjective: Run automated machinery to ensure that manufacturing procedures are carried out.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesWorks from specific verbal and/or written instructions and standard work instructionsMakes routine adjustments/set ups of equipment for limited and readily definable and measurable variables such as length, temperature, or process speed.Loads raw material into the machine, completes minor changeovers, monitors machine operations, and inspects completed parts to ensure that job specifications are maintained.Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.Maintain activity logsMay participate in cross-training activities with other related positionsSupports and participates in the Company's management and quality system including continuous improvement effortsNotifies group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming productSupports and implements the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activitiesPerform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated aboveExperience: 1+ yearsEducation: High School or EquivalentKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesPrevious 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience desiredAbility to perform simple math computationAbility to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with othersAbility to learn, understand and adhere to all applicable safety precautions and proceduresScope of Supervision: N/ATravel Required: N/APhysical Demand (Special Considerations): Long periods of sitting or standing. Need excellent visual acuity to identify visual defects and manual dexterity to handle small components.
