Pride Health is hiring aTravel Phlebotomistto support our client’s medical facility based inPortland ME 04102 ,Title :Travel Phlebotomist Location:Portland ME 04102 Position Type:Contract , 3 months + Possible extension Schedule:8-Hour Day Shifts Salary: $35 to $40/Hr , $1400 TO $1600/Week , With StependThe Patient Services Representative represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health services or important health decisions. The PSR is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures. This role requires direct patient interaction, fostering an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. The PSR demonstrates Leadership Behaviors, maintains process excellence, and upholds strict standards of confidentiality and accuracy regarding patient information. Assignments may include working in a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.Key Responsibilities: Perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures. Verify patient demographic information, obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling and accuracy. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote organizational commitment and maintain a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed. Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable). Flexibility to work at multiple locations and cover Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy sites with minimal notice. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Demonstrates superior customer focus, open and transparent communication, adaptability to change, and knowledge of business operations.
