- Under general supervision of the Supervisor of Recruitment, Director of Human Capital Management and Supervisor, Employee Recruitment and Retention Team, the recruiter supports the efforts of the district in attracting and hiring the highest quality diverse workforce.
- In collaboration with the supervisor and Employee Recruitment and Retention Team, the recruiter provides recommendations, participates and leads in the development of a strategic, equal opportunity recruitment plan and is responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of the plan that includes talent acquisition to develop and maintain a pool of qualified teachers and support personnel of diverse backgrounds.
- In addition to using multiple technology platforms, the recruiter travels extensively to cultivate relationships with out-of-state institutions of higher education for the purpose of networking, disseminating information, identifying potential teacher candidates, developing student teacher placement partnerships, and sponsoring events that result in hiring teachers and support personnel.
- Passport or ability to obtain one within first three months of hire.
