- E)Connects linkages to LGBTQIA+ students to appropriate programs and services both on campus and off-campus to best assist them with issues affecting their retention, success, basic needs, safety, and wellbeing.
- Utilizes data to develop and assess tailored LGBTQIA+ student retention, academic success, basic needs, and services and programs through the LGBTQIA+ Center.
- Provide short-term crisis intervention, long term advocacy and case management to assist LGBTQIA+ students, including but not limited to specialized support to LGBTQIA+ domestic violence survivors.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education, counseling, psychology, sociology, or closely related fieldTwo (2) years of experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community or diversity affairs, andTwo (2) years of experience working in academic advising, retention, education, student services, non-profit, community organizing, mental health or related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in education, counseling, psychology, sociology, or closely related field.
