- Reporting to the Managing Director of the Center for Workplace Development (CWD), and in close partnership with the HR Deans and Directors of all schools and units, the Director of Career Development and Talent Mobility is responsible for leading the design and implementation of career management programs and talent mobility initiatives across the university.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective career development and mobility programs, services and processes for workforce retention, development, and promotion of employees at all levels.
- Partner with the Managing Director of Talent Acquisition and Outreach to ensure alignment of talent acquisition practices and the talent mobility strategy for internal and external candidates.
- Ensure the quality and impact of current and future talent mobility cohort programs (i.e., Administrative Fellowship Program and Harvard Internal Professional Pathways Program) including optimal selection of candidates and assistance with job placement/progression post-program.
- Partner with CWD leaders/peers to integrate learning and development programs and organization development practices with career development and talent mobility efforts.
