- Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer , the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is an enterprise-wide thinker who serves as part of the senior leadership team.
- The CHRO is responsible for directing all Human Resources activities and services in a collaborative fashion with colleges, departments, and outside agencies.
- The CHRO will advise and counsel senior and executive administration on Human Resources policy and procedures, HR compliance and the impact of related employment requirements on the University and employees.
- The CHRO will also set and provide a high standard of vision, leadership and direction for the Office of Human Resources, including the development and execution of human resource strategy, including but not limited to the areas of: succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, HR compliance, records management, and compensation.
