The Substitute Housing Case Manager provides professional services to families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking who reside throughout the Seattle and King County area and who relocate from other counties and states.

Anyone may contact the Office of the Title IX Coordinator about sex and gender discrimination, including sexual or gender-based harassment, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and other forms of sexual misconduct.

Experience and/or education in the field of gender-based violence meaning experience working with DV/sexual assault/CSE and human trafficking survivors with knowledge of the local systems, agencies, and resources relevant to those populations.

The Seattle City Attorney's Office Domestic Violence Unit prosecutes misdemeanor crimes of intimate partner violence, family violence, elder abuse, stalking, assault with sexual motivation, animal cruelty, and child abuse/neglect cases.

The Grants and Contracts Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the MODVSA (Mayor's Office on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault) Contracts Unit, within the Safe and Thriving Communities Division (STC), which manages contracts that promote well-being and aims to reduce gender-based violence.

Knowledge and experience working with disadvantaged young people in the areas of crisis intervention, child abuse/neglect, juvenile justice, domestic violence, housing and homelessness, substance abuse, mental health issues, public assistance rights, sexual abuse and assault, family dynamics.
