Job TitleDesktop Support TechnicianLocation: Brookshire, TX (Onsite)Job Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide first-line technical support to end users in our Brookshire, TX location. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a CompTIA certification (A+, Network+, or equivalent).Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issuesTroubleshoot issues related to Windows and/or macOS systemsSupport users with login issues, password resets, and basic account accessInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesEscalate unresolved issues to Level 2 support teams as neededDocument incidents, requests, and resolutions in a ticketing systemAssist with new hire onboarding and equipment setupFollow IT policies, procedures, and security best practicesDeliver professional and courteous support to all end usersRequired QualificationsCompTIA A+ certification (required)(Network+ or Security+ is a plus)Basic knowledge of:Windows 10/11 (macOS exposure a plus)Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, peripherals)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work onsite in Brookshire, TXWillingness to learn and grow in an IT support environmentPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a Help Desk or Desktop Support roleFamiliarity with:Active Directory (user accounts, password resets)Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)Remote support toolsCustomer service or technical support backgroundWork EnvironmentOnsite support in an office or warehouse environmentMay require walking, lifting IT equipment (up to ~25 lbs)Standard business hours; occasional after-hours support may be requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate or salary (based on experience)Benefits package may include health insurance, PTO, and paid holidaysOpportunity for training, certification growth, and career advancement
