Safety Manager

I'm partnering exclusively with Alston Construction to appoint a Safety Manager for a large-scale mission critical (data center) project in Jackson, Mississippi.This is a key leadership role on a high-value, technically complex build, reporting directly to the VP of Mission Critical (Southeast). The successful candidate will take full ownership of site safety, driving culture, compliance, and performance across a fast-paced construction environment.The Role:Lead all on-site health & safety operationsEnforce and enhance OSHA compliance standardsConduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigationsDrive proactive safety culture across subcontractors and field teamsDeliver toolbox talks and ongoing safety trainingPartner closely with Project Leadership to ensure safe deliveryWhat We're Looking For:Proven Safety Manager experience on large-scale construction projectsData center / mission critical experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of OSHA regulationsConfident communicator who can influence at all levelsStable career history with Tier 1 / reputable GCs preferredWhy This Role?Major data center expansion projectLong-term pipeline of mission critical workClear progression opportunitiesCompetitive compensation (very open depending on experience)Strong, reputable GC with excellent industry standingIf you're open to exploring a mission critical opportunity in Jackson, I'd welcome a confidential conversation.
