The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a strong background in construction safety and OSHA regulations.As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees on our construction sites. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and workers to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practicesConduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocolsTrain and educate employees on safety procedures and practicesInvestigate and report on any accidents or near-misses, and make recommendations for preventative measuresMaintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and trainingCollaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are incorporated into project plans and timelinesStay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary updates to company policies and proceduresServe as the main point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees, clients, and regulatory agenciesConduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety on construction sitesManage and maintain safety equipment and suppliesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related fieldBilingual in English and SpanishMinimum of 2 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and make decisions under pressureAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other safety management softwareJ-18808-Ljbffr
