This role is based at our Kewaunee Fabrications facility in Kewaunee, WI, and requires on-site work within a reasonable commuting distance. You will be a member of the site leadership team and responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety at the facility.ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and guidance regarding implementation and maintenance of all health and safety related programs.Assist management with development and implementation of an accountability program for both management and production personnel.Evaluate risks and develop guidelines for roles, training, measurements and rewards for the employee safety system.Oversee safety-related training required for compliance with all applicable regulation.Organize, plan, and steer the Safety Representative Program to ensure a safe workplace for Oshkosh employees.Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state and local guidelines regarding health and safety programs.Lead the facility in our Safety Management System (SMS) journey.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Safety or another related field.5+ years of safety leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications7+ years of safety leadership experience.Union experience preferred.Certifications: CSP, CHMM, CIH, or PE.Experience with OSHA's VPP Program.Strong leadership and project management skills.Ability to lead through influence.Strong communication and partnership skills across all levels.BenefitsEligibility on Day 1 for medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance.Up to $10,000 each year for tuition reimbursement for degreed programs.401(k) plan with company match, $0.50 for every dollar up to 6%.Competitive paid-time-off plans.Company bonus plan, free life, short and long-term disability plans.Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution up to $1,000 per year.Many, many more.Pay Range$82,900.00 – $134,300.00Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustry: Motor Vehicle ManufacturingOther InformationWe encourage professional development and champion our employees' success through various skills and training opportunities.
