Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator (Office Role)Bethlehem, PA 18017Pay Rate: $18/hr - $21/hrShift: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-min lunch)Work Type: Onsite | Office EnvironmentJob OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations for a leading client. This role involves managing truck routing, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate product movement to customers and manage return logisticsPlan and optimize truck routes to balance workload and shipping costsCreate and manage routes and trip sheets for delivery driversUpdate delivery systems and maintain accurate shipping dataProcess and update orders in Oracle, including shipment confirmationsGenerate and send delivery schedules and notificationsPrint bills of lading and manage shipping documentationMonitor truck ETAs and communicate updates to stakeholdersProvide internal and external customer service supportAssist with scheduling/rescheduling deliveries as neededSupport senior dispatchers and handle additional administrative tasksRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of customer service or related experienceBasic computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook)Strong communication and multitasking abilitiesBasic math and data entry (10-key) skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with dispatching or truck routingFamiliarity with Oracle, Descartes, or Kofax systemsLogistics or supply chain experienceWork EnvironmentOffice-based, independent workstation (cubicle)Company-provided laptopMostly sedentary role with occasional light lifting (under 10 lbs)Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
