The Logistics Coordinator's primary role is work closely with vendors, subcontractors, internal staff, and customers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.Position RequirementsPosition RequirementsManage and coordinate the activities of the logistics teamPayment of all vendors through trucking software (Fleet Watcher)Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsMonitor and analyze performance to identify areas for improvementCoordinate with customers to ensure efficient loadsAssist dispatch team when neededWork closely with management on job cost reviewsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerManual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other computer equipmentVisual acuity to read and interpret data on screens and printed reportsOccasional standing or walking during meetings, presentations, or training sessionsAbility to lift up to 10 -20 pounds, such as laptops, small office equipment, or training materialsQualificationsStrong organizational and multi-tasking capabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to problem solve and think criticallyAttention to detailEqual Opportunity Employer
