Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Make an impact supporting students as a School Psychologist for the 2026–27 academic year. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise within either a junior high (7th–8th grade) or elementary (K–4) setting, providing vital services to students and collaborating with dedicated educators. The assignment runs from approximately August 18, 2026, through June 4, 2027.Preferred Qualifications:Valid Illinois School Psychologist licensure or eligibilityFamiliarity with IDEA and state-specific regulations for IllinoisProficiency in the MTSS framework, special education assessments, and compliance with evaluation timelinesAdept at managing manifestation determinations and efficiently organizing and leading domain meetings, EDCs, and ARsExtensive knowledge of IEP and 504 processes, as well as documentation systems (IEPs, 504s, DS, MTSS)Experience using assessment systems such as Q-global and FastBridgeStrong ability with Google Docs and digital organizational toolsCollaborative, responsive, and skillful in supporting students, families, and staffCore Responsibilities:Administer psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform eligibility and student progressWrite clear, comprehensive reports and contribute to the development of actionable IEPs and 504 PlansServe as a resource for staff regarding MTSS and student interventionsFacilitate meetings (domain, EDC, AR) and guide multidisciplinary teams through special education processesSupport manifestation determination reviews and uphold best practices for complianceCommunicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of servicesThis is a chance to step into a meaningful role supporting educational success, with an engaging and supportive faculty community.
