Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This full-time contract position offers a chance to work with either junior high (7th–8th) or elementary (K–4) students, depending on placement needs, for 35 hours each week. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure students receive the tailored interventions and assessments they need to thrive.Preferred Qualifications:Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related fieldExperience with special education processes under IDEA and Illinois-specific regulationsFamiliarity with MTSS implementation and data-driven intervention planningExpertise in conducting timely special education evaluations and progress monitoringProven ability to conduct Manifestation DeterminationsSkilled at scheduling and facilitating meetings, including domains, EDCs, and ARsAdvanced understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, due process safeguards, and MTSS frameworksProficiency using Q-global, FastBridge, and Google Docs for assessments and documentationKey Responsibilities:Complete psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planningParticipate in and facilitate IEP, 504, and MTSS meetingsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop data-based interventions and supportsSupport compliance with state and federal timelines, processes, and educational frameworksProvide crisis intervention and consultative services as neededThis position is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills, build impactful relationships, and play a critical role in student success.
