Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Take your expertise in school psychology to the next level with a contract role for the 2026–27 academic year, supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Georgetown, IL. This full-time opportunity involves up to 35 hours per week, beginning mid-August 2026 and concluding early June 2027. You'll have the chance to work with either junior high (7th–8th grade) or elementary (K–4) students, depending on program needs.Key Qualifications:Valid school psychologist credentials requiredIn-depth knowledge of IDEA and Illinois special education laws and regulationsProficiency in MTSS processes and interventionsDemonstrated experience managing special education evaluation timelines and tracking progressSkilled in facilitating domain meetings, Eligibility Determination Conferences (EDCs), and Annual Reviews (ARs) efficientlyExpertise with IEP, 504, Due Process, and MTSS documentationAssessment familiarity with Q-global and FastBridge platformsStrong command of Google Docs for reporting and collaborationPrior experience with Manifestation Determinations preferredCore Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support special education referralsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plansGuide and execute MTSS practices within the assigned program or buildingEffectively schedule, organize, and facilitate the entire evaluation and review process for studentsServe as a resource for staff, students, and families regarding mental health and educational supportsMaintain accurate and timely documentation using prescribed assessment and data systemsThis position promises meaningful engagement with students, faculty, and families—creating a truly rewarding professional experience for the upcoming school year.
