Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Concord, MA Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $2,500 to $2,600 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and invasive procedures. Prepare and maintain operating rooms with appropriate equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies. Verify patient identity, procedure, and consent in accordance with facility policy. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members to ensure optimal outcomes. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist during operative procedures. Monitor and assess patients’ status intraoperatively, recognizing and responding to changes in condition. Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control and safety standards. Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and promptly in the patient’s medical record. Participate in call rotations and respond promptly to surgical emergencies when on-call. Support turnover between surgical cases, ensuring efficient workflow and timely readiness for subsequent procedures. Participate in ongoing training, skills validation, and continuing education to maintain professional competency. Requirements Active Massachusetts RN License (required) BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (any setting) Operating Room experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced perioperative environment Strong understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR safety protocols
