This full-time contract assignment spans the 2026–27 academic year, with placements potentially available in a junior high (7th–8th grade) or elementary setting (K–4). Working 35 hours per week, the role is instrumental in backfilling essential psychological services for the upcoming school year, starting mid-August and concluding in early June.Qualifications and Preferred Experience:Valid credentials to practice as a School Psychologist in IllinoisIn-depth understanding of IDEA and Illinois-specific regulationsHands-on experience navigating the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processSkilled in special education evaluations, including managing mandated timelines and documenting student progressProficient in Manifestation Determinations proceduresAble to independently schedule and facilitate domain meetings, EDCs, and ARs with efficiency and clarityRobust working knowledge of IEPs, 504 plans, Domain Sheets (DS), and MTSS frameworksExperience with assessment and data management tools such as Q-global, FastBridge, and Google DocsKey Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to inform instructional and support strategiesInterpret assessment data and write actionable, compliant reportsActively contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of IEPs and 504 plansCollaborate closely with educators and families to ensure student needs are met through targeted interventionsLead and participate in critical meetings, maintaining accurate documentation and timely submission of required recordsThis contract position offers meaningful impact in an educational community, providing the structure, resources, and support to thrive in your practice.
