Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/31/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position: RN - Cardiac PCU Shift: Nights | 3x12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Requirements: Minimum 2 years Cardiac PCU experience BLS & ACLS required | NIH preferred First-time travelers accepted Previous Charge RN experience preferred Patient Ratio: 1:4 with drips/BiPAP Otherwise 1:5 Skills Required: Dysrhythmia interpretation & telemetry monitoring Pre/Post cardiac cath care Cardiac & vasoactive drip management CPAP/BiPAP, chest tubes, tracheostomy care PICC/peripheral line management Cardiac conditions (CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, post-cath patients) Unit Details: 30-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit EPIC charting Nurse Assistants 24/7 | Unit secretary 7a-11p Schedule: Weekend rotation Holidays as needed Self-scheduling through Optilink Note: Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at Cone Health.
