Provides nursing care to critically ill patients. The Registered Nurse performs a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments and the ability to work independently in completing assignments.Responsibilities:Provide inpatient care and support in the 5 Bed I.C.U. to individuals of all ages and their families.Perform after-hours recovery of post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed.Requirements:Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience.Associate Degree in Nursing.Must have and maintain a current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.Maintain current valid certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.Maintain current valid certification of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association must be completed within six months of hire.Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) must be completed within six months of hire.National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS must be completed within six months of hire.About Thrive StaffingThrive Staffing is a dedicated healthcare staffing company specializing in forging purposeful relationships with healthcare organizations and exceptional healthcare providers.Our services extend across the healthcare sector in all 50 states, from inpatient hospital systems to home health, hospice, outpatient clinics, rehab facilities, and senior living environments.
