Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel CU RN Total Gross Pay: $1,784 Position: RN Schedule: 13‑week assignment, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Location: St. David’s South Austin Medical Center Unit Overview – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Facility Details Unit: ICU Department Number: 65077 Floor: 2nd Discipline: Critical Care EMR: Meditech Unit Composition Beds: 20 Total Staff: 55 Day Shift Staffing: Charge RN 10 RNs Night Shift Staffing: Charge RN 10 RNs Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 1:1 Equipment & Technology GE bedside monitors Alaris IV pumps Pyxis Prismax CRRT Tablo SLED Candidate Profile Required Skills (Must‑Have) Candidates must demonstrate competency in: Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Titration of critical drips Hemodynamic assessment and management Active RN License Care of respiratory‑compromised patients, including: Ventilators BiPAP Tracheostomies Airvo Preferred Skills (Nice‑to‑Have) Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized: CRRT SLED Common Procedures Performed Central line insertion Chest tube insertion Bronchoscopies Tracheostomies Lumbar punctures Intubation WHY JUDGE HEALTHCARE?
