The successful candidate will be a dynamic and strategic HR executive, serving as a senior leader responsible for advancing a comprehensive people and culture strategy. This role is pivotal in aligning talent, compliance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness with the institutional mission and systemwide priorities. The CHRO will lead cultural transformation, strengthen leadership capacity, ensure regulatory and labor compliance, and elevate HR as a strategic enterprise function in support of student success and institutional excellence. As the CHRO, the primary responsibilities will include serving as a member of the President's Cabinet, leading the HR team, and being a transformational champion for people and culture. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating optimal working environments and strengthening the systems, policies, and relationships that support employees. They must be responsive to the evolving landscape of higher education and adept at cultivating a unified, engaged, and future-ready workforce. The role also involves overseeing direct reports in various HR functions, including workforce strategy, equity and compliance, and organizational development.
