Principal Electrical Engineer, Data Center Construction

This Principal Electrical Engineer will providing daily construction oversight for a hyperscale data center construction project in Canyon, Texas. They'll be the primary electrical point of contact for overseeing power systems construction, coordinating with contractors and other engineering teams, and solve real-time technical issues in the field, ensuring code compliance, and escalation issues to make sure a massive, high-reliability datacenter facility gets built correctly, powered safely, and brought online successfully.Construction Duration: 1-2 year term, with potential for permanent conversion to other projectsREQUIREMENTS:• Data Center Electrical Construction experience (REQUIRED)• Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, state, local)• 6+ years electrical engineering experience• Comfortable working on active construction sites with contractors• Medium voltage systems experience• Bachelor's degree in engineering.NICE-TO-HAVE:• PE or Responsible Engineer background• Mission-critical facility experienceCOMPENSATION & LOGISTICS:• Base Salary + Comprehensive Benefits• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and PTO• Weekly GSA per diem for meals, incidentals, and lodging• Daily on-site requirements from Monday through Friday• Monthly flight / travel reimbursements for out-of-state candidatesCOMPANY PROFILEThis individual would be working for a 1,700 + person engineering firm specializing in critical infrastructure.
