This role is pivotal in driving the growth of the startup ecosystem, fostering corporate and investor partnerships, and enhancing the global influence of the region in the fields of medtech, biotech, and digital health. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for turning big ideas into high-impact programs and revenue-generating opportunities. Key responsibilities include leading business development efforts, expanding and monetizing innovation programs, and overseeing a talented team to ensure operational excellence. The role demands a builder and a closer, someone who can translate relationships into results and ideas into sustainable revenue streams.Candidates for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in business development, corporate partnerships, venture programs, or startup ecosystems, with a strong preference for those with a deep understanding of the medtech sector. The role requires exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in CRM, data analytics, and Excel. A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at leveraging data to drive decisions, and capable of leading a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.Travel Percent
