- Montana State University-Northern (Northern), located in north-central Montana, seeks a Vice Chancellor for Student Success who will cultivate a supportive environment to attract new students, enhance current student’s experiences and embrace Northern’s commitment to its unique academic and hands-on learning environment.
- The Vice Chancellor for Student Success ( VCSS ) implements and promotes institution-wide student recruitment, retention, and graduation initiatives; using institutional data to assess existing and potential enrollment initiatives within Student Affairs, support the development and implementation of enrollment initiatives in other divisions on campus, report on the effectiveness of all enrollment initiatives, and develop the institution’s strategic response to enrollment-related assessments.
- sits as the Dean of Students and cultivates a community of engaged learners supported by services and programs that enhance learning in and outside of the classroom; collaborates with faculty, staff, administration, student organizations, and community groups to ensure fair and equitable access to resources for all students; and advances student resilience and personal growth through wholistic programming.
- has oversight of the offices of Recruitment, Financial Aid, Digital Communication & Marketing, Residential Education & Student Engagement, Student Health Services, Accessibility Services, Dining Services, and the University Bookstore.
- Collaborate with the Chancellor, the Senior Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs/Provost and other members of the Chancellor’s Executive Team to recommend, develop, and implement policies and procedures that promote student success, increase engagement, and enhance the student experience.
