- Instructional Aide, Autism Support: Assist a certificated Special Education Teacher experienced in Autism, PDD, and other severe neurological disorders, and the general supervision of the Special Education Sr. Director or designee, administers tutoring and support services to students in a classroom setting in acquiring learning, behavior and social skills.
- Goals are established by the collaborative educational team and the student's individualized educational plans (IEP/IFSP).
- Instructional Aide, Moderate/Severe: Assist certificated teacher in the instruction, supervision and/or care of assigned students in the Special Education program; to maintain a safe and effective learning environment; and to perform a variety of instructional and clerical functions in support of assigned classroom activities and programs.
- This is a 10-month position in which the employee will report from August to May while school is in session.
- For Instructional Aide, Autism Support: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
