- Metra is one of the largest and most complex commuter rail systems in North America, serving Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, Kane, and McHenry Counties.
- The primary duties include conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers and Senior Human Resources Business Partners (Sr/HRBP) to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements, candidate matches, and the qualifications needed to fill the role.
- Develop creative ideas and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified professionals and a diverse talent pool (i.e., social media, LinkedIn, Recruiter, employee referrals, direct contact recruiting, Internet data mining, job boards, and internal/external networks).
- Metra is a railroad employer subject to the provisions of the Railroad Retirement Tax Act, not the Social Security Administration.
- In addition to #1, must have five years of full lifecycle recruitment/talent acquisition experience (in-house experience preferred ) which includes two years creating effective sourcing strategies for diverse candidate attraction, selection, and engagement; and using a metrics-driven approach to recruiting.
