- The Division of Pediatric Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta) is looking for an Epilepsy Program Director to join our academic/clinical team at an Associate Professor/Professor level.
- The successful candidate will be a key leader in our Epilepsy Center, overseeing our epilepsy and neurophysiology programs, with a keen eye for quality and future program growth as well as an interest in epilepsy clinical research.
- Epileptologists participate in the teaching of neurology residents and epilepsy fellows as well as staffing a 12 bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Fast Access Neurology clinics and reading LTVM/EEG studies.
- The Pediatric Neurosciences Program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is ranked 1st in the Southeast and one of the top 20 programs in the USA by USN&WR. It is one of the largest programs in the country, handling more than 2,400 pediatric neurological inpatient cases and performing over 1,400 neurosurgeries (including over 50 epilepsy surgeries) each year.
- Candidates must be board certified or eligible in pediatric neurology and the subspecialty of Epilepsy and must demonstrate excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
