- Job Description The Membership Director will oversee the day-to-day operations and personnel of the Welcome Center as part of an overall strategy to retain and grow branch membership and engagement.
- Candidates should possess a strong set of sales, customer service and communications skills and experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects and functions aligned with the mission of the YMCA membership policies and procedures.
- Director will also work with the Operations Director to hire, train and review all Welcome Center personnelThe Director will drive results-oriented tours for prospective membersWill support and lead member engagement throughout the Y facility, including wellness areas, programs, classes etc.
- Create, respond to and oversee all related administrative requirements of the department, its membership budget, daily operational activities, and required equipment, supplies, forms and materialsCultivate external community relationships to promote the Y as a leader in Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.
- This includes staffing community and corporate health fairs, conducting grassroots marketing, and serving as an external ambassador for the Y in appropriate settingsReview membership trends to provide input as to growth and retention strategies.
