- supports the UHS Acute Care front-end revenue cycle processes which encompass: Scheduling, Registration, Admission functions, Insurance Verification/Authorization, Financial Counseling and Point of Service Collections.
- Collaborates with IT and other teams in the design, adoption, and optimization of patient access-related tools and technologies, such as Cerner optimization, insurance verification tools, and online registration systems.
- This position must possess extensive knowledge of revenue cycle systems, functions, policies and procedures, including experience with front end revenue cycle operations, from scheduling, pre-registration, Admitting functions, insurance verification/authorization, financial counseling and point of service collections.
- Previous experience working with Experian eligibility tools and Cerner Patient Management preferred.
