- POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Generalist, Leave Administration & Benefits Specialist
- STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Human Resources Generalist position supports employees through several key departmental processes with primary focus on leave of absence and benefits administration.
- Manage all employees leave of absence, benefits administration, and ADA requests.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
- Demonstrated experience using computer software applications applicable to a higher education environment (e.g., Banner, Argos, Interview Exchange, or HR/CMS).
