- Our client, a well-established Southern Maine company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to add to their team.
- Primary responsibility is managing employee information while keeping up to date on payroll/time off trends and legal/regulatory changes with direct reporting to the Human Resources Manager.
- Working closely and collaboratively with the HR Manager to support the strategic direction of all HR aspects including onboarding, termination, compliance, benefits administration, leave of absence management, performance and compensation management, employee relations, training & development, and payroll.
- Processing payroll and managing unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance, and timekeeping.
