- Provides functional/operational human resources guidance through planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the HR department.
- Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by federal, state and local laws; establishes uniform correspondence procedures.
- Conducts lawful investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Reviews and audits personnel records to insure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness; and formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
