- This position will be appointed by the Sheriff and is open to both current KCSO employees and the public.
- The Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (EIB) Manager III will champion the development and implementation of a systematic approach to Equity and Social Justice (ESJ) within the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).
- In addition to reporting to the KCSO Chief of Community Programs and Services, this role also reports to the King County Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer for strategic alignment.
- Accordingly, the KCSO EIB works in collaboration with the department and other King County EIB Managers.
- The position is characterized by division-wide planning and coordination within the KCSO of thoughtfully designed and sequenced critical actions to implement the King County ESJ Strategic Plan.
