- The Learning and Development (L&D) Director provides strategic leadership to the organization by d eveloping and implementing a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- This role will coordinate all L&D activities but will also partner with business managers, and members of the Organizational Effectiveness team (primarily HR and Employee Health and Wellness) to ascertain growth areas of greatest need or interest.
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs - collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching and mentoring, job-shadowing, online training, classroom training, on-the-job training)
- Hire and develop training/learning specialist team
