- Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the Neag School of Education, the candidate provides leadership for developing and maintaining processes and systems for continuous improvement efforts.
- With academic departments dedicated to educational leadership, educational psychology, and curriculum and instruction, the Neag School offers a five-year integrated bachelor's/master's and a one-year, post-baccalaureate teacher education program as well as certification programs in school leadership, counseling, and psychology.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Neag School of Education Assessment Plan, facilitating revision and updating the plan on a routine schedule.
- Demonstrated independence, creative thinking, and writing in addressing and resolving issues in education assessment and accreditation.
- The diversity of students, faculty and staff continues to increase, as does the number of honors students, valedictorians and salutatorians who consistently make UConn their top choice.
