- The Director serves as the Title IX Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing institutional compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of the 1972 Civil Rights Act ("Title IX"), the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2013 ("VAWA"), the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act ("Campus SaVE"), and other related federal and state laws.
- Provides direct leadership for, and management of, all undergraduate and graduate student conduct processes and serves as the university's subject-matter expert on requirements of and compliance with Title IX, VAWA, Campus SaVE, and related federal and state laws.
- Oversees all Title IX complaints and reports of gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence and related allegations of sexual misconduct.
- Serves as an Administrative Hearing Officer for student conduct cases regarding matters that violate the student Code of Conduct.
- Provides progressive ways to educate students who have violated the Student Code of Conduct such as Restorative Justice.
