- The Clinical Counselor (Clinician) is responsible for the mental health assessments and providing ongoing counseling and crisis intervention services for all children within the Unaccompanied Children (UC) program.
- Additionally, the Clinical Counselor provides ongoing individual and group counseling sessions, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention.
- Conducts mental health assessments; provides ongoing individual and group counseling services, screens for human trafficking concerns, and assess adjustment to shelter.
- Document all mental health assessments for all children in care in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.
- Screen for human trafficking, coercion or child labor concerns.
