Overview: Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering graduates with 0-1 years of experience to join our Structures team in our Pleasanton office in 2024! Responsibilities: <ul><li>Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients. </li><li>Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for structural projects focusing on new buildings, rehabilitation and repair of existing buildings, PV systems, and site structures. </li><li>Assist with preparation of detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools </li><li>Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. </li><li>Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop effective structural solutions that meet project requirements. </li><li>Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for modifications, repairs, and retrofits. </li><li>Perform structural analysis and modeling using advanced software tools to evaluate the behavior and performance of structures under various load conditions. </li><li>Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams. </li><li>Analysts will learn the latest industry trends, codes, and standards related to vertical structures, and incorporate them into project designs </li><li>Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. </li><li>Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS. </li></ul> Qualifications: An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2024 in one of the following majors:Civil and/or Environmental Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering Engineering Technology Salary Range: $87,500 to $91,000 Why Kimley-Horn?: As an Analyst with Kimley-Horn, you will benefit from hands-on experience, technical software and consulting trainings, and developmental programs geared towards growing Kimley-Horn’s future leaders.
