- Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) is responsible for all financial operations, including the operating, restricted, and capital budgets, financial planning and analysis, risk management and regulatory compliance, granting functions, property, insurance, retirement plans, and investments.
- The CFO works closely with the volunteer Treasurer of PYM, and provides support on fiduciary, business, and policy concerns to the General Secretary, the councils (PYM's board of directors) and the Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust (ASMHPT - a supporting organization of PYM) as well as various committees of PYM and ASHMT.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices and laws.
- o Entry-level staff (Intern, Assistant, Associate) Candidates are interested in Racial Equity.
- Candidates are also interested in expanding their analysis and knowledge about the role that racial inequity plays in our society and are committed to building and/or deepening their commitment to racial justice work.
