- This position reports to the Director of Facilities Management and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, beautification, and landscaping of the golf teaching studio, 3 sports facilities, 2 multipurpose recreation fields, and other open spaces on the university's campus.
- Responsibilities include turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, managing and scheduling staff, supervising contractors, operating and maintaining equipment, scheduling/maintenance of irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance with regulatory issues.
- Supervises and participates in the application and recording of landscape chemicals (fertilizers and pesticides) at the Key Golf Studio, Walden Soccer Complex, the Ragsdale Baseball Field, softball field, and intramural and multipurpose fields in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversees and directs contractors in the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, and wetlands on the campus grounds and outdoor athletic facilities.
