- We seek to address and eliminate barriers to student and employee success by operationalizing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) practices and strategies across all departments and programs.
- The Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Culture (AVP, HRC) will lead the HR department through the implementation of our college strategic plan, ensuring principles of EDI are prioritized and reflected in our human resources programs, practices, and policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals responsible for the college’s HR Service delivery programs which include talent management/acquisition, labor and employee relations, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, succession planning, employee communications and the College’s Human Resources Management System (ctcLink).
- Partner with the College President, the AVP of EDI, and the leadership team to guide the evolution of a talent strategy lifecycle (recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention) that supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where EDI competencies are embedded into the hiring process, criteria, evaluation of applicants, onboarding, and retention.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, advising, coaching and counseling on employment related issues and ensure collective bargaining agreements reflect the college’s commitment to EDI.
