Requirements for the Position EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.

Experience: Two years experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance that was gained under the supervision of a mental health professional preferred.

Mental Health Therapist. State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.

Provide high quality health care through direct screening, diagnosis and formulation/implementation of treatment plan for mental health patients (may include depression, anxiety, marital conflicts, etc., in individuals, couples, families or groups.
