May perform pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing after training is complete in the Pulmonary Diagnostics Lab. May perform surfactant replacement therapy (NICU). Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate's degree or equivalent and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Therapist that have greater than 5 years of clinical experience and have a CRT or CRTT may be hired, are eligible for a Level II position and will fall under the Grandfather clause not requiring them to take their registry.
