- Description The Division of Cancer Biology in the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Winship Cancer Institute and Emory University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time tenure-eligible/tenured faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, in the broadly-defined area of cancer biology research with potential translational relevance and impact for the field of radiation oncology.
- These include but are not limited to DNA repair, maintenance of genome stability, cancer immunology, epigenetics, metabolism, signal transduction, particle radiobiology and therapy, cell death mechanisms, and imaging (see: ).
- Division faculty members participate in broader University initiatives, including the Emory Vaccine Center, the Biological Discovery through Chemical Innovation (BDCI) Initiative, the Emory Artificial Intelligence (AI) Humanity Initiative, and the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance (CTSA).
- Opportunities abound for synergy throughout the School of Medicine, Emory College of Arts & Sciences, Georgia Institute of Technology, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Georgia State University.
